What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small file that a website can store in your browser. A website can also use local browser storage. The rules and your choices do not only concern files called cookies, but also similar storage and reading it.
What is active on this website?
We use a necessary cookie to remember your choice. With your consent we also measure visits to the website. Without a choice or after you decline, these optional measurements do not start. Declining has no adverse consequences for access to information, contact or customer applications.
Overview of browser storage
This website uses the following storage in your browser.
| Name | Technology | Purpose and content | Validity | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| site-toestemming | First-party cookie | Remembers your choice, the policy version, the time and a random consent code | 12 months from saving your choice; when this policy gets a new version we ask for your choice again | Necessary to carry out your choice |
| site-meting-sessie | Local browser storage | Distinguishes visits with a random session code and limited time data | Expires after 30 minutes without activity; a new session starts on later use. Deleted if you decline or withdraw consent | Only after consent to statistics |
A value in local storage does not disappear by itself after thirty minutes; the website checks its validity when used. You can also clear the storage yourself in your browser settings.
What do we measure with consent?
We measure which page is visited, when, the language and the type of origin, for example direct, through a search engine or through social media. A random code distinguishes a measurement session. We derive country and region from the connection; we do not use a precise location.
The measurement message contains no IP address, name or email address. Form content, search terms, full referring web addresses, query strings and URL fragments are not part of this measurement record; only the type of referrer is recorded. This is different from technical server logs: the hosting service may still process an IP address for the connection and security.
Random codes are not automatically anonymous. We therefore treat this data as data that needs appropriate privacy protection. The data passes through our own server to the business system of Mokhles Food and is only used for our own statistics, not for advertising profiles or sale to advertisers.
How long do we keep statistics and choices?
The following retention periods apply in the business system. Data is deleted automatically when they end.
| Record | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Individual page visits | 7 days |
| Session records on the server | 24 hours |
| Combined totals per day and page, without session code | At most 13 months |
| Proof of your cookie choice: choice, policy version, time and random code | 36 months |
These server periods are separate from the 12 months of the choice cookie and the 30-minute session validity in your browser. We use the proof of consent to account for the choice made and how it was applied, not as a marketing profile. Combined totals that can no longer be traced back to you may remain after withdrawal.
Giving, declining or withdrawing consent
On your first visit you choose whether to allow statistics. Statistics are not switched on in advance, and a missing or invalid choice does not count as consent. You can always change your choice via Cookie settings at the bottom of the website and on this page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
After withdrawal, future optional measurements stop and the local session storage used for them is deleted. The necessary choice cookie remains to remember your refusal. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. For a request about personal data that is still held, you can contact us as described in the privacy statement.
Language, fonts and external links
The language of this website is shown in the URL, for example ?lang=nl or ?lang=ar, and is not stored in a language cookie. An address without a language choice shows Dutch.
Images and fonts are served by the website itself. The website loads no embedded map, social feed or third-party video. If you open an external link, for example to WhatsApp or Google Maps, the statements and settings of that provider then also apply.
When the forms are enabled for sending, pages with a contact or application form load a security check that protects forms against automated abuse. This check is technically necessary to submit a form securely and is only loaded on pages with a form. It serves security purposes only, not statistics or advertising. The provider that performs the check processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics. More information is available in the privacy statement.
This cookie policy concerns the website. Storage and push notifications in the app are explained in the privacy statement.
Browser settings, questions and changes
In your browser you can view, block or delete cookies and local storage. The website may then forget your earlier choice and ask again. Blocking necessary storage may make parts work less well, but is no reason to start optional measurement anyway.

We update this policy when the technologies or purposes change. For new optional purposes we ask for consent again, where required, before they become active.
